Ending Distraction

Today I deleted Facebook, Netflix, and YouTube from my phone. On a reflective walk afterward, I recalled a video of Ryan Montgomery explaining signal jamming through an analogy: a screaming intruder drowning out a private conversation between two people. This struck me as a metaphor for modern life — our minds saturated with corrupting noise from entertainment and devices, making it impossible to hear the "signal" of intuition or conscience amid the constant cacophony. I've been encouraged to cut distractions and embrace silence instead of endless content consumption. Only through deliberate silence can we discern truth from noise — and honour follows.
